Included in this .zip file are a few different programs: 1) WRTJTAG.exe (and io.dll) - v.99 beta - This is the newest version of the Debrick Utility. It is a Windows GUI based version supporting all flash chips used/included in the Linksys routers. 2) WRTCFE.exe - v1.0 - This is a quick CFE.BIN modding utility for cooking up a CFE Bootloader with your own MAC Address in case recovery is needed. It will also allow you to modify the "default" parameters set normally after resetting the unit to factory defaults. 3) WRT54G - v3.0 - (In the Linux directory) - this is the Linux version of the Debrick utility included just for good measure. This version has not yet been retro-fitted to support all the flash chips that are now supported in the new Windows Version. 4) Docs and .PNG Image - these are the original docs I put together describing how to make a JTAG cable and use the original Linux base debricking software. This is included only for completeness. ******************************************************************************************************* This Windows GUI version of the EJTAG Debrick Uility uses the following (since I didn't want to spend a couple hours writing and debugging a parallel port driver for windows): IO.DLL (c) 1995-2003 Fred Bulback The documentation for IO.DLL can be found at: http://www.geekhideout.com/iodll.shtml Kudos to Fred! Note: Since the IO.DLL is supposed to work under all flavors of Windows then this utility should as well; however, I have only personally used it under the XP Pro operating system. ******************************************************************************************************* Cheers -hairydairymaid
